Snow snow and more snow!

Well, it's been a crazy few days. Why? Well, snow, of course (surprising, considering the title). For those of you who are unfortunate enough not to live in the British Isles, we've had snow! SNOW! It started with the Met Office (if you're a bloody American, work out what their job is) issuing weather warnings of various degrees of magnitude: the exciting "EXTREME WEATHER EVENT FORECAST FOR LONDON AND SOUTH EAST ENGLAND" was soon brought to my attention. I was thrilled - snow snow snow snow snow. Of course, it'snow joke. This could, uuh, make people late for work.

...

Man I crack myself up.

Anyway, Monday. The snow failed and I went to school as normal. I knew it'd be a bad day: as soon as I stepped onto the school bus, I heard the words "hundreds of schools are closed...

...across London". Great, I tell you. Lucky bastards. It sucks not living in the capital. -.-

But lo-and-behold! A thrilling sowing (yes, you heard - sowing) lesson was soon interrupted by heavy snow outside! HUZZAH! It's a blizzard: school will be closed, sledging galore, other stuf-

After about five minutes, the snow stopped.

To cut a long (and tragic) story short, the day was filled with joy at slight snow-showers, followed by tears (well, mental tears) as the snow stopped. However, enough did fall for us to eventually have the following day off school. The school was shut 'due to ice'. Yes, powdery white ice that falls from the sky.

Sledging (painful, actually, but not too bad having heard about the girl who tobogganed herself into an early grave (actually, that's not funny... someone really did die sledging)) commenced and soon I was cold, miserable, and still determined to enjoy the snow. Blizzard hell, that never happens.

What a great few days, eh? Not really? Well, tomorrow is to be even better - 5cm of additional snow is expected, meaning another day away from school! HUZZAH! The excitement has already began, and I can't wait for a light dusting of snow followed by rain- sorry, I meant heavy snowfall- which should happen overnight.

I guess I'll finish this failure off with some jokes - weather or not you liked the rest of the blog, this is bound to get powdery white coming from you in snowgasmic amounts. Yes, this is my first blog-entry and you may find it a bit cloudy, but there's snow way that you won't like the following ones. Anyway...

What do you call a snowman with no hair?
A snow-bald!

HAHA! Thanks for reading. :-)
